The PHCC Academy of San Diego’s Entry-Level HVAC Service Tech Certificate Program is a seven-month program designed for students with no or minimal years of experience in the industry. The program fosters a solid foundation and understanding of the latest tools, equipment, and technologies. Students become proficient and confident to perform residential and light commercial maintenances and basic troubleshooting. The program provides superior in-depth, hands-on training with a variety of equipment used in today’s complex heating and air conditioning systems. At the conclusion of this program, students are prepared to take and earn the EPA 608 Exam.

Any required textbooks are included in the tuition and must be brought to each class session.
Description: Heating and Cooling Essentials is the ideal introductory text for students entering the HVACR field, providing well-illustrated and simple explanations of complex HVACR topics.
